Fans
The air coolers delivered by us can be equipped with fans of diameter up to 10500 mm. Parameters and structure of fans are suited each time for a particular project. Each fan is accompanied with a data card listing its parameters regarding its flow, efficiency, power consumption, charts of its characteristics etc. Along with fan, we deliver technical and mobility documentation, quality control certificate, and for fans which will operate in zones in risk of explosion ATEX certificate.
Rotors
Rotor blades are made up of composite reinforced with carbon fibre. We can use 4 different blade profiles:
Type 1 | Type 5 | Type 7 | Type 14 |

Profile (14) has wide, very silent blades used in the application where the most important parameter is minimum noise.
Rotor blades give a possibility to regulate the angle of the blades. The changes in angle position are made when the fan is off.
Standard temperature of the rotors operation is – 25 to + 65 °C. There is a possibility to manufacture the high-temperature rotors suitable for operating in temperature of +110°C
Rotors are balanced in class G6.3.
Motors
Standard temperature of the motors operation is -20 to +40°C. There is a possibility to use in fans the motors suitable for operating in higher temperatures.
According to kind of application, fans can have motors of power range from 1,5 kW up to 250 kW. We use motors of world class market leaders such as Siemens, Celma (Cantonimotors), ABB, VEM.
Drive
Fans, according on their diameter and application, in which they operate, may be equipped with different drive systems.
- direct drive,
- drive with motoreducer,
- belt drive,
- drive with intersecting axis gear, drive shaft and motor.
Casing
The role of casing consists in shaping the air flow in order to obtain the best flow parameters of the fan.
The fan casings usually are cylindrical steel casings with elliptic inlet funnel. The funnel is made of composite reinforced with carbon fibre. The elliptic shape of the inlet funnel improves greatly the flow parameters of the fan and minimizes the noise. The casings are equipped with special bracing, additionally compensating the impact of aerodynamic force resulting from operation of the fan blades. The special construction of the bracing, the technologies applied and the materials used for production minimize creation and transmission of vibrations, in spite of low weight of the casing.
Control
The fans in our air coolers may be equipped with control cubicle. We offer both the simplest systems enabling to turn the fan on and off, as well as complete control panels equipped with inverters which serve for regulation of the revolutions of the fans and software receiving signals from sensors placed on the fan, in the motor or gear. The fan can be equipped with sensor of vibration.The intersecting axis gear may have a sensor of pressure or a sensor of oil flow. The motors may have sensors of winding temperature, sensors of bearing temperature, and sensors of vibrations.

Anti-explosion feature
Fans may operate in the zones in risk of explosion. In such cases the blades of fan have a special anti-electrostatic feature. The motor and gear have an anti-explosive feature. The entire fan system has ATEX certificate.
