Types of air coolers
Each air cooler is designed individually according to the requirements and needs of a Client. The right choice of the cooler depends on the parameters of installation operation, climate and the space available.
Forced draft air cooled heat exchangers
The most common type of air cooler is the forced draft system. Its advantage is an easy service access to fans and tube bundles. In this type of cooler, the fans are placed underneath the tube bundles and there is no risk of hot air flow in outlet.

Roof system
Roof system is a variant of forced draft air cooled heat exchanger. The tube bundles are placed diagonally over the construction. This type is used mostly in low-pressure condensers and when space for construction is limited.

Induced draft air cooled heat exchangers
Other often used type is the induced draft system. The fans are placed over the tube bundles ensuring a better control over the cooling process. Such a construction reduces the possibility of occurance of recirculation of the heated air. The surfaces of the finned tubes are additionally protected against wind, rain and snow.

Recirculation air cooled heat exchangers
Recirculation system is the most complicated type of air cooler, because of additional construction required to control the external atmospherical conditions. It serves to prevent freezing or crystallization of the cooling agent by recirculation of warm air. It is used mainly in cold climate and for special processes.
